Kevin and Allison Cloud are a married writing team based in Kansas City whose work centers themes of creativity, freedom and resistance. With music degrees from the University of Kansas, Kevin is a lifetime songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and Allison is a lifetime performer. Kevin is the Director of New Works at The Culture House, a non-profit arts conservatory, and his songs have been featured on four records. Allison freelances as a playwright, singer, actor, model and voiceover artist. Her voice has been featured on ESPN, as well as numerous documentaries, records, and ads. Kevin and Allison’sfirst musical, ROAR, was awarded the ArtsKC Inspiration Grant and the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission Award. Additionally, ROAR won the Kansas City Fringe Festival Best of Fringe award. In addition to VILNA, they are developing THE NASHVILLE CHRONICLES, a one-woman show, for the 2023 Kansas City Fringe Festival. Kevin and Allison are proud members of the Dramatists Guild and BMI, and are actively involved with New Musicals International Academy for New Musical Theater.
